You think its just easy? Its a big NO especially if you're fiance's citizenship is dual or non-Filipino because there's additional process/documents you need to secure, one is to secure a legal capacity to married that you can get in Taiwan embassy at RCBC plaza.
I told to my Fiance that we need to go to embassy as soon as we can because we cannot process the marriage license in city hall unless we have secure the certificate from the embassy.
I can say that this Embassy was a lot of "kaek-ekan" like they need a CENOMAR(Certificate of no Marriage) that has an authentication of DFA. So, Its additional process. We went to DFA near at MOA and I'm so proud that the process have tremendously improved since they have transferred to a new location. It's already air-conditioned and you can get the application through online. I can say that it's now easier to get things done.
After a week, we went back to Embassy to pass the documents they needed including the CENOMAR that has an authentication by DFA. Guess what? A girl at the Embassy need a NSO Birth Cirtificate w/ an authetication of DFA as well. My Question is Why she did not say it at first that an NSO Birth Cirtificate also need an authentication came from DFA? We could have it authenticated both at same time. So streesful when you encounter someone who want to ruin you're schedules or talagang nang-aasar lang. At that time, I can feel that my Fiance already losing his patience.
I ask to my self "Why they treat people like that ei kumikita naman sila sa amin" dapat nga di ba kami pa ang mag demand sa kanila dahil where paying their service, and mind you, its not cheap ha. But were not like that. That's the thing that I really hate, people who worked for the government because there acting like they can control people.
As of now the documents that my Fiance needs are already submitted in Taiwan Embassy and instead of 1 week lead time, upon knowing our wedding is still in June, it became 3 weeks...Just don't know if that's normal or that lady is acting bitch.
